Disney announces €2 billion redevelopment of Disneyland Paris

Disney announced earlier this year that the famed Disneyland Paris would undergo a £2bn redevelopment, with the addition of a number of new attractions.  The BBC reported that the Walt Disney company plan to expand the park with a lake and new areas devoted to hit films such as Frozen and Star Wars.  The plans were announced following a meeting between Disney CEO Bob Iger and French president Emmanuel Macron. The park opened in 1992 and employs more that 16,000 people and accounts for more than 6% of Frances tourism business.
